Global startup funding hit over $300 billion from January to March, a 2.5x increase from the prior quarter, exceeding any full pre-2019 year. This spike was propelled by four massive deals: OpenAI ($122B), Anthropic ($30B), xAI ($20B), and Waymo ($16B), accounting for 63% of total funding.
